Classroom scorekeeper

Track classroom game or review scores for up to ten teams or students on one shared device.

Project or pass one phone as the scorekeeper during review games. Label rows by team name and use large +1/+5/+10 controls.

No roster import exists—type team names directly on the scoreboard.

Shared-device tips

Rematch resets scores but keeps names for the next period within the same day.

Clear browser data or start New game between classes if you do not want prior totals to reload.

Round notes can record which unit you reviewed without cluttering the grid.

Team-based review games

Set Players to the number of table groups, not every student, when teams share one score.

Use custom Apply for large question values you announce orally.

Undo when a student successfully challenges a scoring mistake.

Limits for educators

Scores are not stored in an LMS gradebook—transfer important grades manually if needed.

The pad does not verify academic integrity; it only sums what the teacher enters.

Jeopardy-style use is generic vocabulary practice, not licensed show material.

Printing for parents

Print summary after a showcase event if parents want a takeaway—data still originates from manual entry.

Copy summary into email if Print layout is unavailable on school printers.

Avoid putting full student legal names in round notes if the sheet might be left in a public space.

Grading versus game scores

Treat pad totals as participation game points unless you have a rubric mapping them to grades. Export via Print only when parents expect a souvenir, not a transcript.

For multi-day tournaments across weeks, start New game when roster membership changes so old scores do not linger in localStorage.

If a student disputes a tap, use Undo once, reapply the correct delta, and narrate the fix so the class trusts the visible numbers.

Team colors and labels

Rename rows to color teams when younger students cannot read surnames quickly on the board.

Use +10 for big question wins and +1 for participation chips if your rubric distinguishes them.

Advance Next round when switching subjects so round counter matches your lesson plan sections.

After-school clubs

Clubs without grades can still use Print summary for bragging rights—nothing uploads automatically.

Clear New game when alumni visit so old scores do not embarrass current members.

Encourage captains to call out Undo when they bump the wrong +10 in excitement.

Fire drill interruptions

Scores persist through refresh—resume the same game after drills unless you intentionally New game for a clean period.

Screenshot Print preview if the school printer queue fails but you still need standings for the principal.

Subs and coverage

Leave a sticky note with target score and player count when a sub might run the review game.

Tell subs to use Undo instead of guessing how to reverse a +10 mistake.

If the sub starts New game accidentally, re-enter team names from your seating chart before continuing.
