Jeopardy-style scorekeeper
Generic point tracking for quiz-style games—add and subtract scores for players or teams. Not affiliated with any TV game show.
Quiz nights need large visible totals and fast plus/minus adjustments. Rename rows to contestants or teams and use custom deltas for clue values you choose.
This page describes generic point tracking only—not an official show product.
Workflow during a round
Create a row per contestant before reading questions.
Apply positive custom deltas for correct answers and negative deltas for penalties according to your house rules.
Undo covers mis-taps when the host moves quickly between contestants.
Target races and finals
Optional target score can highlight a race-to-N finish if your format needs it.
The tool does not detect ‘Final Jeopardy’ wagering math—you enter final adjustments yourself.
Print standings between rounds if viewers need a paper reference.
Affiliation and branding
Do not present the site as an official game-show app or use protected logos in your materials.
Keep language generic: ‘quiz score pad’ rather than implying endorsement.
Hosts remain responsible for question content and intellectual property separately from this counter.
Accessibility for hosts
Read updated totals aloud when projecting on a small screen.
Use Copy summary to paste into a host script document if multiple facilitators share duties.
Large buttons help when buzzing is fast-paced.
Running fast buzzer rounds
Pre-assign row order on the scoreboard so you are not renaming mid-round. Keep Undo finger on the Options panel when clue values are large and mistakes are costly.
Use Copy summary between rounds to paste into a host-only document if you rotate quizmaster duties.
Remind players this pad is not affiliated with any broadcast show—avoid logos or sound effects that imply endorsement.
Clue values and penalties
Type daily double values in custom Apply the moment the clue resolves—speed matters more than fancy UI.
Keep a paper list of clue categories; the pad only stores numbers you enter.
When penalties drive scores negative, remind players the pad allows it—house rules might still floor at zero manually.
Audience visibility
Mirror the phone to a projector with high contrast so trailing teams can see totals.
Read leader changes aloud when accessibility needs exceed small phone fonts.
Pause physical buzzers while you Undo a mis-tap so players do not strategize on wrong numbers.
Final totals ceremony
Read scores descending before Print so audio matches the printed sheet order. Applaud ties even when the pad lists multiple leaders.
Document clue values on paper when internet drops so you can re-enter deltas after reconnecting.
Post-game archive
Paste Copy summary into your organization's minutes doc with the date and event name in the first line.
Store printed sheets in a folder if your community center reruns monthly trivia—compare totals month over month manually.
Delete local browser data on shared hall PCs so next month's host does not see old contestant names in the score rows.
