Board game scorekeeper
Keep board-game scores online with quick deltas, undo, round notes, and a printable summary for 2–10 players.
Use the main scoreboard when points accumulate across rounds at home. Rename players, tap common increments, and undo mistaps without restarting the night.
This guide assumes one designated scorekeeper phone unless your group manually shares totals.
Setup at the table
Set Players to match seat count and rename rows before the first round starts.
Set Target score (optional) when the rulebook names a finish line; otherwise leave it empty.
Place the phone where the scorekeeper can reach Undo quickly.
During play
Prefer +1/+5/+10 for speed; drop to custom Apply for odd values from house rules.
Press Next round when the physical board advances, adding a Round note if you want a paper trail later.
Glance at the status line for Leader text during close games.
Ending the night
Print or Copy summary before everyone leaves so you can settle disputes about final totals.
Use Rematch if you play again with the same people; use New game when player count or names change.
On a shared family tablet, New game clears sensitive labels between visitors.
What it will not do
It will not calculate end-of-game bonuses from a rulebook table—you enter those manually.
It will not sync with other devices—pick one canonical pad or accept manual copying.
It is not affiliated with any commercial board title; it is a generic counter.
House rules the pad cannot encode
Enter end-game bonuses manually with custom Apply even when they are not multiples of one— the pad happily accepts odd values if you type them.
When games allow negative scores, −1 is one tap away but larger penalties belong in the custom field with a Round note explaining why.
If two players tie on points with no target set, the status line may show multiple leaders—your rulebook still decides the actual winner.
Multi-table events
Run one phone per table unless you accept divergent totals—there is no merge feature.
Name rows after table numbers for tournament nights, then Print summary before players move tables.
Use Shuffle turn order only at the start of each table rotation so seating fairness is separate from score math.
Long campaigns
Round notes accumulate only when you press Next round—use them for story milestones in legacy campaigns.
Rematch zeros scores but keeps names when the same group plays game two on the same night.
Back up important totals with Copy summary to cloud notes if the phone might reboot mid-campaign.
Battery and brightness
Dim screens still show large +5 buttons, but outdoor glare may require Print summary moved to shade before disputes arise.
